There will be an interesting event at the Czech Embassy on 13. May,

a concert by the Czech choir MUSICA SARENSIS,

„Sung  from  Afar“

„ Zpíváno z dálky“

commemorating the fifteenth anniversary

of the death of the Czech polymath Jan Křesadlo.( 13.8.1995 ) x)

The program includes the British premiere of the composition of the same

name Zpíváno z dálky by Antonín Tučapský, who set to music, after the

author´s  death, five poems from the collection of Křesadlo´s„Sedmihlásek“,

followed by Arabeska by A.Tučapský, with Tomáš Pinsker, violin ,accomp. by piano.

The concert will take place at the Czech Embassy,

26, Kensington Palace Gardens, W8 4Q,  London,

on Thursday, 13. May at 6.30pm (doors open at 6pm )

After the concert there will be refreshments.
