BCSA event – Christmas Concert on Tuesday 5 December 2017

Members of the public are cordially invited to attend the following event organised with the kind cooperation of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic: Christmas concert
Music by Martinů, Dvořák, Mahler and Schulhoff

Tuesday 5 December 2017, at 6.30pm (doors open 6.15pm)

at the Slovak Embassy, 25 Kensington Palace Gardens, London W8 4QY (nearest underground station Notting Hill Gate)


Bohuslav Martinů: Sonata for Flute and Piano – Chiawen Kiew (flute), Chris Underhill (piano)

Gustav Mahler (arranged Arnon Zimra): Wir genessen die himmlischen Freuden (an arrangement of the last  movement of the 4th symphony) – Genevieve Usher (soprano), Ed Cooke (clarinet)

Antonín Dvořák: Sonatina for Flute and Piano – Chiawen Kiew (flute), Chris Underhill (piano)

Erwin Schulhoff: Susi –  Chiawen Kiew (flute)

The concert will last about 60 minutes and will be followed by a glass of wine.

Admission is free for members of the BCSA, £10.00 for non-members, and registration is necessary through Eventbrite  or by e-mail to bcsa@bcsa.co.uk
